Odyssey introduces the “Odyssey GGS”, “Greenest Grooming Salon” using two inverters, an ample battery system and harnessing the power of the sun through roof mounted solar panels to assist in charging the batteries. Just think, no generator, no running the vehicle’s engine, no Propane, no fumes, no noise and just about maintenance free. You get 6,000 watts of pure grooming power with plenty of reserve for a full days grooming. During the day the sun slowly recharges the system and when driving from appointment to appointment the system charges faster. When home for the day just plug in the van and the inverters keep the batteries fully charged until the next grooming day. Generator powered salons make noise, create fumes and use precious and expensive gas or diesel fuel not to mention the maintenance intervals required which take time and money away from grooming.

Odyssey also offers a “True Hybrid Grooming Salon”. Using a 5,000 watt inverter and your choice of a 2,500, 4,000 or 7,000 watt generator you can have as much as 12,000 watts of power for your equipment. Being a true hybrid the generator only starts when you exceed the 5,000 watts of inverter power keeping the noise, fuel consumption and maintenance much lower than other models.

Odyssey is also under construction of “THE NORTHEAST’S ONLY MOBILE GROOMING SHOWROOM” You will be able to visit their facilities in Wharton, New Jersey and step into a model of a grooming van that can be expanded from a small Sprinter to a Ford E-350 and up to the 170” Sprinter. This enables the groomer to stand in an actual layout and see how the grooming flow will work and the layout of equipment. Whether you are left or right handed Odyssey can show you how your van will come out and while there you can ask about financing and pick out colors for your new salon.
